SURGE PROTECTORS

ALFA’R surge and overcurrent arresters are manufactured with gas discharge technology.

Once the surge has disappeared, the gas returns to its original state and the diversion to ground disappears with a resistance of tens of GΩ. It does not affect the normal operation of the installation and the signal to be transferred arrives unaltered at its destination.

In normal operation, they maintain the characteristic impedance at 50 Ω so that they can be used at high frequencies without a significant increase of VSWR or insertion loss.

There are versions for coaxial connectors of 7/16, N, TNC, BNC, UHF, F, etc… series with male or female connectors.
