ALFA’R surge and overcurrent arresters are manufactured with gas discharge technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once the surge has disappeared, the gas returns to its original state and the diversion to ground disappears with a resistance of tens of G\u03a9. It does not affect the normal operation of the installation and the signal to be transferred arrives unaltered at its destination.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In normal operation, they maintain the characteristic impedance at 50 \u03a9 so that they can be used at high frequencies without a significant increase of VSWR or insertion loss.<\/p>\n
