The SMB and SMC (SubMiniature B, C) connectors correspond to miniature connectors based on the same internal design. The only difference between both series of coaxial connectors SMB and SMC <\/strong>, is the male-female coupling mechanism, which will provide different mechanical and electrical characteristics. In the SMB<\/em> series, the male-female coupling is done by means of a fast “snap-on” system.<\/p>\n\n

It is mainly used in connections inside high-frequency equipment, where there is a high density of connections and where the coupling mechanism facilitates interconnection. Coaxial connectors SMB are suitable for applications up to 4 GHz.<\/p>\n\n

There are SMB connectors for standard or special cables <\/strong> (flexible, semi-rigid, rigid…). Different shape versions: straight, angled, SMD mounting….
