The SMC series connectors (SubMiniature C)<\/strong> correspond to the group of small connectors, based on the same internal design as the series SMB<\/a>. The only difference between these series is the male-female coupling mechanism. This will provide different mechanical and electrical characteristics.<\/p>\n \n

In the SMC <\/strong> series, the male-female coupling is made by means of a thread. It is mainly used in connections for mobile applications, where an anti-vibration system is required. The SMC coaxial connectors <\/strong><\/em> can be used for applications up to 10 GHz.<\/p>\n\n
